Labels stand up well in dishwasher!
I didn't give it a 5-star rating because it doesn't have some of the special characters I was looking for. But for the price I paid, I can live with it. The labels are amazingly durable. I have put labels on containers and they come out of my dishwasher just fine. I have washed them multiple times in the dishwasher and the labels don't appear to fade or peel off.
This is the one
I got this labeler to label up all my fileing drawers, and let me tell you it worked great. Once you get the hang of how to change the different styles you'll find yourself labeling all you stuff. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because it needed 6 AA's to work, I wish they hade an adapter for it. If you do end up buying it make sure that you get some extra labels if you're going to do a lot of labeling. I also found it easy to get more labels at my local Staples.
Great label maker for around the home.
This Brother label maker is perfect for tasks around my apartment and car. It takes six AA batteries, which is no problem if you have a fleet of rechargeable batteries. The only consumable is the label tape, which is available at many office supply stores, which makes pricing competitive. I would recommend this device to anyone in a small house or apartment who would like to label files, drawers, light switches, and containers.
