Customer Reviews I find this the best RTS for several reasons. This game is a must have for rts game players, even if you long for more than the normal maps. Warcraft is the absolute BEST rts for custom maps. With an easy-to-use interface for making maps, people have easily made maps that have nothing to do with the original game, other than the graphics, which sometimes are also changed! For normal map lovers, warcraft also has good mechanics. 4 unique races, twice the amount featured in Warcraft II. Another uniqueity of warcraft is the hero system. The hero is the single most powerful unit, and actually increases in strength over time. That is, if you fight enough with him. The hero system is very similar to the one seen in rpg games. The more units die in the vicinity of a hero, the more abilities they can learn. These abilities include blizzard, rain of fire, Entangling Roots, and many more. Warcraft III, like many rts's nowadays has the ability to play vs other people online, and can even just chat. There's a ladder of players, tournaments every few hours, and a clan system. An interestsing feature of blizzard's online system, dubbed "battle.net", is that it is possible to chat with people playing starcraft and diablo online. Well, I hope I inspired some people to buy this, and i don't think you will be dissapointed. See you on Battle.net! this game owns just go and buy the game it is awesome awsome i wasnt really a warcraft fan to begin with, but it was on sale so i figured whatever.. i installed it and started playing. it was great. it is one of the most addicting games i ever played. personally i like the humans cause their easiest to get along with if that makes any sense. the graphics are average but they look better if you raise everything a litte bit higher. another thing thats great is online play. why cause it free thats why.. good warcraft goodness and free online. i sat there playing for hours. theres also campaign which takes up hours of your precious time. it goes through all the races. and its good. the story line is great. i dont know how many times i can say great in one review. well pick it up if your a fan of these kinds of games. starcraft fans will love this great game. there i go again.
