Do not buy this to take underwater pics
I bought this camera and it took great pictures above water, but none of the pictures I took underwater turned out. I looked at the negatives and it was like I never even clicked the shutter. The negatives were blank where I took the underwater pictures.
Poor image quality and design
I purchased this camera and took it to the beach. The photos were so bad, I threw them away. The images were all washed-out and blurry. Also, the film advancing mechanism is very tricky, so several of the pictures I took overlapped each other. I've used other disposable cameras before that wouldn't let you take a picture until the film had been fully advanced to the next frame. With this camera, I advanced the film until the mechanism stopped, and the camera allowed me to take another picture. Unfortunately, the film hadn't advanced fully and the next picture partially overlapped the previous picture that I had taken. What a waste of money this camera was!
Thankfully, I had also taken my digital camera, so I still had some good pictures of my trip :)
Excellent Camera
I love this camera!! We went to Raging Waters and I picked up a 2-pack from Sams Club for about $18.00. The pictures were gorgeous! The colors brilliant and images crisp and clear. I could not believe it :) I would not have taken my regular camera to the water park and I was able to get wonderful shots of the family without the stress of "taking care of the camera". I am very pleased and impressed. I took an underwater shot that was a bit blue-ish because of the cloudy water and lack of flash BUT still very cool shot.
