Duh!!! Make sure you have the pin pluged all the way into the organizer
Well, DUH. Make sure you have the pin pluged in all the way into the organizer. You should feel a distinct "click". I was hesitating to push real hard because the unit did not feel that solid. Don't worry, it won't break!

This item is super - has everything you need and more and the synchronization was easy - just like someone else said
1. make sure the time is same on pc and organizer
2. download the software
3. plug in, turn on organizer
4. synchronize with outlook(you must have this software which I also got very reasonably from amazon) you get address book, calender, to do and more.
