Plenty of features for me. However, I have it mounted on the wall and it sticks out too far from wall. I don't know why the wall mount is so much larger than other wall phones. I may put the phone on a table and cover the old wall jack with a calendar! Motorola MD681 5.8 GHz Cordless telephone The sale promotion for this item occurred at just the right time. Our 15 year old wall phone in the kitchen had seen better days and the handset cord made intermittent contact most of the time. The time for a new phone had come. We have two other cordless phones in the house but this one was on 5.8 GHz, a different frequency band from either of the others, which assured me that there was no chance of interference. With the $30 rebate subtracted from the sale price, I simply couldn't refuse buying it. So far, it has performed beautifully; easy to program and essentially intuitive to operate, no rocket science involved. Motorola's name behind it assured me that if anything were to go wrong, I'd have quick service. If you need a phone now, get this one. You'll be happy with it.
