Never Again The cheap price for these phones should tip you off that they are junk. The battery life is terrible, both my batteries are going dead. Plus, if one of the phones go dead while talking it blanks out your phone line so you have to unplug the phone cord to the unit. You can barely read the caller ID display and you can only use one phone at a time. You can transfer a call to the other phone but it's a hassle.
Solid Phone This phone got high reviews in Consumer Reports and it shows. Great clarity and range. Like others, I thought that a higher frequency meant a better phone, but I prefer using this 900 MHz phone to any of my 5.8 GHz ones. (I should tell you that I do not have a wireless internet set-up in my house, thus could not say if the phone would interfere with something like that.) Plus, to get two handsets for $30 is a great deal. |
