Setting up WEP security was straightforward and took about another 5-10 minutes. Works great in my P III Thinkpad. Be Warned! Anyone about to purchase a Linksys product should be well warned: Linksys customer service and tech support is ABYSMAL! In fact it's so bad, it's worse than none at all. I spent over six hours on the phone attempting to get help with this product, coming away empty handed in the end. Rude, ineffective, uninformed and rude again is my assessment. I am a first-time Linksys customer and will probably never do it again. Best and the Cheapest in the market I used to have Dlink wireless card which wasn't too bad either. But it was a little bulky and weak so it eventually broke. I loved this card from the very first time I used it. I have never seen driver so easy to install on any device I have ever used. Honestly, it took me less than 5 minutes to install the card and hook it up to my encrypted wireless router. This is the first time I am using linksys product.
