A Wonderful Alternative to the iPod
As a busy college student on a budget, I had thought it impossible to afford an mp3 player on my own, the iPod brand particularly in mind whenever I found myself attempting to think of a way to get around the price issue.
When I found this SanDisk mp3 player, I almost didn't believe my eyes at the price. An mp3 player for under $100? I had to investigate.
This SanDisk player comes with 1 GB of storage. 1 GB for under $100. More than a little intrigued, I looked over this player's specs and was increasingly impressed with the features included.
I've had my SanDisk player for about a week and half now, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. The storage capacity is enough to fit all of my songs that matter, and the FM tuner comes in handy during those times when one needs more variety than the songs stored on the player. The earbud headphones included are very comfortable as well.
If you have the same issue as I had, then I highly recommend this product. It's easy to use, small, light, portable, and requires minimum effort to master its functions. This mp3 player is definitely worth its (very reasonable!) price! You won't be disappointed.
EVEN WITH FIRMWARE UPDATE...
Even with firmware update 1.02, a WMA burned at 192 bits sounds great on my computer, but on the SanDisk player, songs have odd cracking sounds. However, if I convert the file into a 192 bit MP3, it plays with no problems. Otherwise, it is great. I like that I can drag and drop files from my computer. So, 4 out of 5 stars.
Good little buddy!!
I don't normally leave reviews but I think this deserves one..
I originally bought the mini ipod but was SHOCKED with so many things about it.. the battery sucked, the whole 'Big Brother' attitude of Mac, so I took it back and bought a Sony. That was worse than the Ipod so I went for another...
This was my fourth Brand of MP3 player.
My only flaw is that the sound is not Excellent. I bought a good pair of earphones and used them instead and the sound is fine.
This player is easy to use.. being able to click and drag music without having to go through software is nice and the fact that you can use an AAA battery is my favourite feature.
The radio is pretty good too.
I needed an mp3 player to use for when I go running, and this is ideal!
(Am not someone from the company trying to bump up the ratings.. I have only ever left bad reviews in the past and I am relieved that I have found something that actually does what it's supposed to.)
