Customer Reviews Small Speakers that sound like Towers I have been a stereophile for 38 years, at least. I have always gone with the best equipment I could find for my audio system. Therefore, I have always been a bit disappointed with computer speakers; until now. The Klipsch ProMedia 2.0 speakers sound like small tower speakers. They even look like miniature towers. I was blown away when I first heard them and I compared the sound of many computer speakers, from Harman-Kardon to Bose, before settling on Klipsch. Take advice from a serious music listener, you can't go wrong with these speakers. solid speaker package After having some cheap speakers for a while, I decided to spend some of my hard earned cash. After reading other reviews, I decided to share my thoughts. The cases are well built, the power supply 'aka "THE BRICK' as one person descriped it, is just that; but it's not like you are going to put it on your waist and take a walk with it. It just sits there doing it's job; quite well. Let's get real on this issue of balance controls. Try the old fashion way of getting off your butt and moving the speakers to get the sound you want! Klipsch did a very nice job of integrating quality, price and performence into this speaker package. Fantastic quality and rich bass at a reasonable price I consider myself something of an audiophile, and I can vouch for the tremedous quality of these Klipsch speakers. Since I live in a dorm, I had to purchase a speaker set without a subwoofer. The Klipsch set was a great choice, as it pumps out rich bass for my electronic music without compromising the mid/high-range sweetness of classical or jazz. An all-around great buy. Nothing lacks from these speakers, and the price is highly reasonable. Listen to a pair at an Apple Store to see what I mean. Also, the two input jacks make it extremely easy to have both an iPod and a computer connected at the same time.
