Customer Reviews

Lens Broke after 4 Months of GENTLE use

I babied this camera. Beyond the blurry daytime/lighted and horrible night time photos, the LENS has decided to stick in the out/telephoto position.

I'm so upset with it! A waste of money. I am sending it into the warranty shop to be repaired (unless they try to charge me for it) and will post my experience once that's done).
Upset because I can't "sea sea" my photos!!!

Throw your money out the window instead

This camera is a piece of junk. Though it looks i am repeating what has already been said by others earlier, i have each of the following issues.

1 . Now the lens mechanism has jammed in less than a month since purchase and has to be sent back.got to contact sony - seeing all earlier horror stories, bracing for the worst.

2 . at night time expect the blurriest pictures possible. be prepared to erase half the photos after clicking it. worst possible focussing

3 . at night time, when using flash, half the photos are just black, even though the flash goes off, the picture has no detail. A nightmare

Poor quality, poor customer service

This camera broke after about five months of extremely gentle use. The lens has jammed, a common problem I have since found out. The quality of the pictures this camera took prior to breaking were quite disappointing, compared to my old one-megapixel Olympus camera that I foolishly gave away. The image size may be seven megapixels, but the imager resolution seemed to be less than five megapixels (from direct comparisons to a Nikon five megapixel camera.) Photos in automatic mode were consistently blurry and/or out of focus, often in bright lit outdoors. Now that the lens has jammed, I have a very expensive paperweight that will cost me a couple more hunded dollars to fix.

Amazon.Com prices and availability subject to change.
