Power Sucker
Lights dim every a while not to mention printing.(Brother says that 's your house not up to current wire standard!?) Here is what I find its electricity spec.: standby 70w; printing 450w. A similiar HP ($50 more though) standby 2w;printing 250w. If you have a strong circuit in the room/house,you are fine.I need to returned it.
Cheap and Great!
This printer is a great value for the money. I have been printing like crazy and have had no problems. Though the paper does curl a bit, this isn't really a big deal. The printer is silent when not in use and a bit noisy when printing but again this is no big deal. Installation took all of five minutes. I would highly recommend.
Perfect for my Home Use
I purchased this printer just a few days ago and it is perfect for my home use. I agree with most that the unit is little noisy, but mostly when warming up. I am mostly using this to print items off the web, word documents, spreadsheets, etc. The printer is fast, the text is clean, I have had no issues. Now that this printer can be had for under $100 (with rebates)...for general printing, this can't be beat. No more crappy inkjets and clogged printheads!
