A Must Have for Business Travellers
It's better than sliced bread. My only suggestion to all users is to not use it with your CD player in your car. There are Interferences when your CD player is on and that is probably why you might get the "Lost Satellite" problem. Use the radio instead for music.
I travel for work on a weekly basis. No more U-Turns and stopping to ask people for directions. It's super cool.
Great navigation system
I ordered the Streetpilot c330 as a Christmas gift for my husband. He travels all over our state with his job and really wanted a navigation system for his car. I purchased this one through Amazon.com after thoroughly researching other systems.
Unfortunately, we got one of the defective ones with the locked maps. However, we contacted Garmin directly, sent the system to them, and had a new one within 7 business days. (Garmin said that for some reason, Amazon.com has a batch of these with this problem. They were very nice about getting us another one out immediately and made the exchange painless.)
My husband loves the system. It works great and even helps him find locations in rural parts of our state. He doesn't go anywhere without it anymore. He even puts it in my vehicle when we're riding around town together. It doesn't quite know all of the shortcuts that we do, but from what I understand, you can "train" it to learn those (if I'm not mistaken). My husband said this has made finding locations during his traveling much easier. It's also really easy to use and is basically just plug and play.
I would definitely recommend this navigation system over all of the others I looked at because of it's ease of use and updated maps. The touch screen is really great and easy too. It doesn't show everything that's been updated over the past two years or newer restaurants added, but I'm surprised at how accurate most of the information and maps are. Even with the inconvenience of having to get a replacement from Garmin, I would still buy this system again from Amazon.com. (It was over $120 cheaper than in our local stores.)
Very Pleased
I am extremely pleased with the Garmin and the purchase process. We love it so much that we bought a second one for ourselves (the first was for our daughter). Our folks are next to purchase the same thing. Amazon.com was very easy to work with. They had the best price and shipping was extremely fast.
I would do it again without question.
