A great game I can play with my four year old

My son had to have this game for Christmas and of course he got it. This is an easy game to play in that a four year old can get the ins and outs of how to move, jump and fight. Yet it is hard enough that he needs my help to complete most of the levels.

You start the game in Dexter's Diner, which is a fun place to mess around and earn money. You can use the money to buy characters and other various things. On each level, there are several things you can do. First, you must defeat all the bad guys and complete the "story". Once done, new levels are unlocked and you can replay the story in freeplay mode with other earned characters.

Also, on each level, you must find 10 canisters that will help you build a special lego ship. Some cannisters are hard to find and some can't be gotten till you have unlocked characters from future levels.

A final task on each level is to earn a certain amount of money. This amount varies from level to level and can at times be difficult.

This is a fun 2 player father/son type game that brings out the fun of star wars without the violence or intensity of the movies. My son knows more about star wars than I do and he's only seen episode 4.

There are a lot of games out there and this is one I recommend above most. Kids will love it, and so will gaming parents. It has a lot of replay value as well.

Great for Kids and Parents

When my son asked for Lego Star Wars for Christmas I thought to myself great another boring kids game I'll have to play, because I've been playing video games for over 25 yrs I like challanges and usually E games don't have that.

I was so wrong this is the BEST children game ever, not only can my 3 yr old play it on his own but Adults will not be Bored having to play along!! Yes it easy for adult but there are so many hidden object to find and you have to use the force to move cups around to get extra Lego pieces, turn on light etc.. You have to do more then just run through the chapters which makes it entertaining. In episode 2 you get to do a disco with the aliens (which my son thought was so funny)and the best feature of this game is being able to jump in and play at anytime.

Usually with other games while your playing 1 person mode you have to exit and start all over from the beginning to select 2 people mode. Not with this game a second person can jump in the middle of a game (you never have to stop playing for them to join in) and when you get to a hard part (for a 3 yr old) I just tell him Drop out for second and get him past the hard part then he jumps back in and he gets so excited when we make it to the end of a chapter together. And my sons loves Free play were he can pick any player from Anakin to a droid and I enjoy it too. This is 1st kid game I ever Liked playing.

Best "E" Rated Game Ever!

This is the best "E" rated game yet. I've had bad luck with games related to movies or toys, but this is the clear exception. The figures are exactly like the legos but with great action! And the story line follows the first three Star Wars movies including such great scenes as the Pod Race, Jedi/Clone battle, and the rescue of the Chancellor.

It's both challenging but great fun for the young player as the characters come back to life on the same level if they die. No blood or guts, just great jedi fun. One of the best aspects of the game is that you earn more characters as you go along like jedi knights, droids, clones and sith. There are dozens of characters! You also get vehicles and space ships along the way.

If your child likes Star Wars and Legos, then ANY AGE will enjoy this game. There are lots of special features for the more experienced gamer, and the ability to change characters means that the game is never the same twice.

One final note, two person play is also the best I've seen for kids. A second player can join and drop out from the mission any time. This means that a friend or brother can hop into the adventure any time, battle with you, and then drop out when it's time to go. My boys have completed all of the basic missions, but they have been working together to collect all the extras now.

This one won't disappoint!
