Very Pleased
I had been searching for a mini MP3 system for some time. This one arrived in just a couple of days, was easy to set up, and I have been playing it constantly ever since and love it. I was a little sceptical about ordering a refurbished model, but am pleased to say, it worked out very well. Would highly recommend this model for someone who wants a simple mini system. The sound qualtity is great.
CD changer died after a few months
The system looked great, and was a great price, but after a few months the CD changer died. And wouldn't open with my CDS in it. And of course you threw out the box--so how are you going to ship this not so micro thing back? And how much is that going to cost-it's heavy. And so you have a $99 radio.
Excellent sound, look, easy of use, size
I bought this because Sony always seems to make decent stuff, it fit in my bedroom and I put one speaker on either side of my bed and becuase it has all the features I want and looks good! Overall, I couldn't be more happy with it. I do use the remote, and find the sound great and it's so easy to use. Another reviewer said it's too hard to use, well they must be using velcro shoes because I bet laces must be hard for them too, and I might suggest if you are that reviewer reading this review, you might want to consider buying a phone with the big buttons, and a large funnel so you can dial without messing up and so you can pour water or juice or whatever and not spill as much. Also, I want to mention again how nice this unit looks and another thing I need to mention is that it does play burned CDs or CD-R as many call them. This is a huge benefit for people that make a lot of thier own CDs, like me. Other than that, take care.

p.s. if you find yourself having trouble operating a T.V. or your computer is on because you don't know how to turn it off, don't buy this product, it might be too complicated for you and just stick with your records.
