Customer Reviews TOY from motorola first, why does it say : BE THE FIRST to REVIEW this item ? 18 others reviewed it, i saw all that and based on it, bot this item. sorry, but at least the 2 units i got are pure junk. open road, nothing in line of sight, max it works for is about 300 yards. thats it. it s a toy. changed to many brands of batteries, sony, energizer, new alkalines and 3 other brands of NimH fully and properly charged batteries so one cannot blame it on batteries at all i got more batteries now than most people have in their homes. too bad, was hoping for at least double that distance. 300 yrds in open field. inside apt or house, max is about 4 floors, thru the floors inside elevator, whre you really might need it, it wont work... most mob fones wont, either, unless the elevator has been specailly wired up. thats that treat as TOY if you get more than 300yds you are lucky ! maybe yours are very diff from mine internally. tks k
