good for the price, but jams often
One immediate gripe I have with this printer is that it doesn't come with a USB cable. This is a trend with printer manufacturers, as my HP photo printer also didn't come with a USB cable. We all need to complain to the customer relations departments of companies that do this. It would've been simple enough to include one.. it cost but a few pennies to make.
Luckily, I have a few cables from other devices, but I hate having to switch back and forth between them. (I finally got fed up and bought 2 last week). For customers that don't have a USB cable handy, they'd have to go by one separately. They may or may not be aware of this.
The other gripe is that I've gotten too many jams and misfeeds. Of the 50 pages I've printed so far, 4 of them have come out crumpled. One jam was so bad, I had to forcibly remove the sheet. It got all bent up like an accordian.
All in all, it's not a bad printer for the price, and still worth it if all you need is a cheap laser. I don't mind dealing with the occasional problem. It's not as quite as many lasers I've used, but I don't print often, so it doesn't bother me. (It makes a roar like other users have said). Worth the $70 or $80, if you're deciding between a color inkjet or a cheap laser. The included toner cartridge alone makes up for the purchase price of the entire printer. Cartridges are not cheap.
Excellent economical Printer
Excellent economical printer. I had this printer for a month now. When I bought it there was a rebate of $50 making the printer around $60. You may not be able to get a HP for this price range. This is ideal for some one who wants to replace their ink jet if you are in need of a mainly black and white printer. My Canon printer (another excellent printer) was costing too much for me to print my documents, wife's recipes, travel documents etc. We were replacing those cartridges frequently specially the black.
When the Samsung ML-2010 starts and until it heats up it makes a roaring noise. After it heats up with in 3- 5 minutes this noise disappear.When it is in sleep mode there's no noise either. I have this printer plugged into my airport express (wireless router) and placed in away from my desk. Now both my wife and I can print wireless using our Macs™.
Unlike other users I do not get a grey printing unless I print in lower resolution mode. I wanted to get a HP but it was lot more than I wanted to spend for a home printer. I am very happy I purchased this printer. So far no jams, no print queue or waiting to be printed problems. First print takes about 5 minutes to print. Afterwards it just print likes a champ. I wish the paper tray could hold more than 100 or more pages but it's a minor complain. Highly recommended.

a lot of people seem to be complaining that this printer doesn't come with the usb cable...these people are retarded..what printer comes with cables nowadays?...you can get a usb cable cheap for around $6 at a lot of places...should samsung and amazon supply you with printing paper and electricity to operate this printer also?...stop being cheap and go out buy your own usb cable.
