| Product Description The PIXMA iP6600D Photo Printer is a photo-printing powerhouse, with incredible quality and high end convenience. It delivers an amazing resolution of up to 9,600 x 2,400 dpi, for detail and clarity that will surpass your expectations. To achieve this, Canon Full-photolitho-graphy Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) uses a next-generation 3,072-nozzle print head that ejects precise, consistent droplets as small as one picoliter. Plus, we've added high intensity photo cyan and photo magenta to the conventional four inks, to increase the accuracy of color values. |

Great Printer I really like this printer. It prints out wonderful pictures that come out just as good, if not better, than the ones I have printed at a photo lab. It does text just as well. I haven't used the PictBridge function yet, as I have to have an adaptor for the kind of card my camera uses. This doesn't bother me as I usually edit my pics on the computer before I have them printed. I was a little dissapointed with the ink cartriges. It seems Canon has had them chipped and I haven't been able to find any cheaper generic cartriges yet. The brand name ones aren't really that bad in price. They range about $15. But over all, I think this printer is great.
all green my pictures are awful... all green hued... maybe I am supposed to make adjustments - I haven't read the manual... but out of the box the pictures are hideous...
A Little Known Fact!! Be warned that if you buy one, the set up instructions at one point direct you to "attach the USB cable." Guess what??? The #*#*# thing does not include a USB cable. Even the really inexpensive HP digital camera cames with a download cable... Big screw-up on Canon's part.. Order a cable with it unless you want to make a separate trip to town to buy a cable.. The one star rating is due entirely to not being able to hook the *$*$*$* thing up when I have the time... |
